Litigation Communications

The Crisis Team’s litigation communications practice focuses on the public contest surrounding civil disputes, criminal proceedings, and investigations. We work alongside legal counsel to build a forceful, defensible account of the facts and advance the client’s broader interests. From the first allegation through resolution, our communications strategy supports the legal case while addressing the consequences for reputation, relationships, and the ability to do business.

We examine the record, anticipate opposing arguments, and translate complex evidence into language that journalists and other important audiences can assess. We distinguish allegations from established facts and expose material contradictions. The work includes preparing statements and spokespeople, briefing reporters, responding to significant filings, and challenging misleading claims with documentation. We track coverage across news, social media, search, and AI platforms, identifying where inaccurate accounts are taking hold and developing responses suited to each audience.

Clients may face allegations of fraud, a contested commercial transaction, employment claims, or a regulatory investigation that becomes a public controversy. We prepare for leaks, hearings, and judgments before they arrive, keeping communications aligned with counsel as the matter develops. When proceedings conclude, we pursue accurate coverage of the outcome and address outdated accounts that continue to damage our client’s reputation.
