Public Affairs Strategy
The Crisis Team’s public affairs practice focuses on helping clients shape government decisions that affect their future. We examine the substance of a proposal alongside the political pressures surrounding it, identifying whose concerns must be addressed and where support can be built. That begins with understanding how a decision will be made, what officials need to resolve, and which arguments will withstand scrutiny.
Our work combines political analysis with disciplined advocacy. We develop the policy case, identify potential allies, and build campaigns that connect direct government engagement with public communication. We prepare briefings and testimony that help executives explain their position and answer difficult questions. Working with community leaders and other interested groups, we listen to concerns, find common ground, and strengthen proposals while there is still room to shape the outcome.
Clients may be responding to proposed regulation, seeking approval for a major investment, or defending an emerging technology whose benefits and risks are disputed. Others face a public hearing, an organized opposition campaign, or a change in government that threatens established plans. We help them anticipate resistance, choose when and how to make their case publicly, and build support that can endure beyond a single announcement or decision.
